WHAT IS THE INT’L HOSTED BUYER PROGRAMME?

The 2nd LeShow Istanbul Int’l Leather & Fashion Fair (namely “LeShow Istanbul 2020”), in which will be organized by Turkel Fair Organization Inc. between dates of January 16-18, 2020 in Istanbul Congress Center (ICC)/Harbiye-Istanbul/TURKEY, is also aimed to build up new int’l cooperation initiatives and to leverage trade volumes in the global leather, fur and textile “ready to wear” fashion markets by offering a prestigious “Int’l Hosted Buyer Programme”.

Int’l Hosted Buyer Programme is a value-added special initiative for the highest level buyers, purchasing authorities and decision makers from all around the world with specific sourcing requirements, yet have a limited amount of time at the fair or are first-time visitors to LeShow series fair organizations of TURKEL.

By hosting top-level int’l buyers & specialists in purchasing, Int’l Hosted Buyer Programme provides golden opportunities to discover the latest trends, to acquire premiers-new products of the global leather, fur and textile “ready to wear” fashion markets, to meet with the suitable industry-specific designers and suppliers of their choice for focused one-to-one appointments, to create new business development initiatives.

The qualified int’l hosted buyers will be our VIP guests and be entitled to lots of attracting incentives and also extra opportunities to build up their global network of opportunities with the leather, fur and textile ready to wear fashion industries suppliers.

Of course, to be accepted as a qualified int’l hosted buyer, applicant should meet strict qualifying criteria. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Our int’l hosted buyer profile for the LeShow Istanbul 2020 consists of the global leather, fur and textile ready to wear fashion industries professionals of Wholesalers, Retailers, Importers, Exporters, Brand Owners/Agents, Fashion Designers, Distributors, Department/Chain Stores, Boutiques, Specialty Stores, Buying Offices, E-Tailers, Agents, Showrooms, Corporate Companies, Int’l Professional Associations/Organizations/Federations/Societies/Auction Houses, Ministries & Public Institutions.

Besides, in order to be eligible to attend as an int’l hosted buyer, the applicant must be in the position of senior manager/decision maker (owner, board member, purchase director, senior level purchase specialist, merchant etc.) being responsible for planning, organizing, recommending or making purchase decisions for the international business of the company/organization that represents.

Furthermore, to be accepted into our Int’l Hosted Buyer Programme, meeting the following special eligibility criteria by the applicant will be taken into consideration at the highest level:

* Your company/organization does not exhibit in the LeShow Istanbul 2020.
* Your company/organization does not own any manufacturing facility related to the leather, fur and textile ready to wear fashion sectors.
* Your company/organization develops its own designs for its brand/label and seeks “Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM)” to manufacture them.
* Your company/organization seeks “Original Design Manufacturers (ODM)” that design and manufacture products that fit its brand/label.
* Your company/organization is looking for branded leather, fur and textile ready to wear fashion collections that can be marketed or represented in your country. In preference, int’l companies/organizations those have not made business with Turkey yet.

HOW TO BE QUALIFIED?

Recognized for aiming to move confidently towards becoming Turkey’s most comprehensive and world famous “mix and match” type ready to wear fashion show event, LeShow Istanbul 2020, meticulously evaluates all int’l hosted buyer programme applications.

Only application forms submitted online with correct attached requirements, as stated in the form will be honored. Failure to do so will result in the application not being processed. Selected respondents will be notified about their confirmed nominee status and subsequent selection processes as to become qualified int’l hosted buyers accordingly.

Applying the programme and/or being confirmed as a nominee does not guarantee to become a qualified int’l hosted buyer and to get the whole incentives of the programme. It is only subject to a limited number (max. 2 (Two) qualified int’l hosted buyer per company/organization) and only applicable at the complete discretion of TURKEL.

Respondents/nominees who are not accepted for the int’l hosted buyer programme are more than welcome to attend LeShow Istanbul 2020 as privileged trade visitors on their own expenses and complimentary official invitation cards shall be submitted to their e-mail addresses accordingly.

WHAT ARE THE INT’L HOSTED BUYER COMMITMENTS?

As a qualified int’l hosted buyer, you commit to:

* Actively take part in LeShow Istanbul 2020 on each day of your stay in Istanbul,
* Attend at least 6 (Six) individual appointments per day with the suitable suppliers & exhibitors of your choice,
* Cover all other expenses that are not mentioned in complimentary incentives of the programme,
* Return with a duly filled out and signed post fair evaluation form to TURKEL Int’l Hosted Buyer Team before your departure from Istanbul.

Also, all respondents/nominees/qualified int’l hosted buyers are required to unconditionally agree to Terms & Conditions of the Int’l Hosted Buyer Programme. Thank you for your kind understanding!..

WHAT ARE THE INCENTIVES OF PROGRAMME?

Qualified int’l hosted buyers will be entitled to the following complimentary incentives, where only applicable at the complete discretion of TURKEL:

* A personal itinerary of appointments with meeting your choice of suitable suppliers & exhibitors. No time wasted meeting with suppliers & exhibitors that don't fit your business needs!
* Privileged access to the int’l hosted buyer lounge with complimentary refreshments and use of internet and business facilities throughout the 3-day event.
* Privileged invitation card and complimentary admittance to exclusive premiere fashion shows.
* Airport “meet and assist” service on arrival and ground transfers within Istanbul (airport–hotel–fair venue–hotel–airport).
* On-site support of dedicated the TURKEL Int’l Hosted Buyer Team before and during the fair event.
* Hotel accommodation for 2/3 nights in 4*/5* Istanbul hotels (bed & breakfast) (only applicable solely at the discretion of TURKEL).
* Round trip economy class air travel (only applicable solely at the discretion of TURKEL).

Int’l Hosted Buyer Programme doesn’t include; any visa application and fees, private ground transfers, hotel/flight upgrades or date/time/destination changes, travel/health insurance, excess baggage, additional overnight stay and extra food & beverage expenses, other personal expenses.Please just complete the Application Form below to register your interest in attending LeShow Istanbul 2020 as an Int’l Hosted Buyer.

HOW THE PROGRAMME WORKS?

STEP 1 – ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESS

Register your interest in attending as an int’l hosted buyer by completing the online form where you will be asked to provide your company information, sourcing purpose and upload your business documents. Online application forms shall be submitted on or before the 29th of November 2019.

STEP 2 – PRE-SELECTION PROCESS

All applications will be reviewed diligently by TURKEL on a regular basis and selected respondents will be notified via in-time official confirmation e-mail, letting them to know that they have been accepted as a nominee int’l hosted buyer. If requested by TURKEL, nominee int’l hosted buyers are required to submit their additional info such as valid copy of the passport and credit card details.

STEP 3 – FINAL SELECTION PROCESS

Upon conclusion of the official application deadline, TURKEL will diligently finalize selection process of the qualified int’l hosted buyers, amongst the pre-confirmed nominees. All qualified int’l hosted buyers will be notified via in-time official final confirmation e-mail no later than the 13th of December 2019, letting them to know about their qualified hosting incentives, rights & obligations.

STEP 4 – ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESS

All kinds of administrative procedures vital for the travel, accommodation and visa requirements of the qualified hosted buyers will be handled & cleared in thro coordination with TURKEL Int’l Hosted Buyer Team. Besides, in close coordination with qualified int’l hosted buyers, TURKEL Int’l Hosted Buyer Team will organize required arrival/departure and stay programs in Istanbul.

STEP 5 – THE FAIR VISIT PROCESS

Qualified int’l hosted buyers are required to actively take part in LeShow Istanbul 2020 on each day of their stay in Istanbul. Also, they are committed to attend at least 6 (Six) individual appointments per day with the suitable suppliers & exhibitors of their choice.

There is no upper limit to the number of appointments int’l hosted buyers can make during their attendance at the fair. Appointments take place during the opening hours of the LeShow Istanbul 2020 at the suitable suppliers’ & exhibitors’ stands.

Upon request, TURKEL Int’l Hosted Buyer Team will closely assist the qualified int’l hosted buyers to set up in the nick of time extra appointments with the suitable suppliers & exhibitors based on their pre-claimed preferences.

STEP 6 – POST FAIR EVALUATION PROCESS

Before departure from Istanbul, all qualified int’l hosted buyers are requested to return with a duly filled out and signed post fair evaluation form to TURKEL Int’l Hosted Buyer Team-a form confirming business meetings held during the fair with exhibitors and also delineating their personal feedbacks & suggestions about the LeShow Istanbul 2020.

Important Information on the Int’l Hosted Buyer Programme:

* Online application forms shall be submitted on or before the 29th of November 2019. In addition to online registration, please e-mail the form to leshowistanbul@turkel.com.tr.
* All completed application forms are stored securely & safely. TURKEL unconditionally accepts and assures not to disclose the existence or contents of all completed application forms to any Third Party.
* TURKEL reserves the ultimate rights to vary the clauses of the application form, terms & conditions of the programme, to change or terminate the LeShow Istanbul 2020 Int’l Hosted Buyer Programme without any prior notice. In case of any dispute over the programme, the decision of TURKEL shall be final and binding.
